Martina is currently an undergraduate student majoring in Chemical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. She is a graduate of Bristol Central High School and has nurtured a keen interest in environmental matters. Collaborating with Ph.D. student Mert Can Hacifazlioglu, Martina is actively involved in the development of exceptionally permeable desalination membranes using the electrospray technique.
